This reproduction poster is an illustration of a speech given by Joseph Stalin during World War 2. Both the poster and the speech were used to promote the Anglo-Soviet-American alliance with the Russian population. It depicts the Allied soldiers as resolute and light while the Nazis (shown here as a vicious looking Hitler) as the forces of darkness being crushed underfoot. The background showing the Union Jack of Great Britain, Old Glory's stars and stripes of the United States, and the hammer and sickle flag of the Soviet Union frame the piece.
