This is a great giclee of a 1931 poster which was to mobilize workers into industrial shock brigades for the Five Year Plan: men are absorbed into a machine like system that is embodied in cubistic styles. The disciplined worker cannot tolerate the irregularity of the slacker, shown here in a style reminiscent of the anti capitalist caricatures of the German artist George Grosz. Excellent example of inter war art (the period between World War One and Two) of the Soviet Union Russia. USSR WWII.
